i think it depends of a lot of things like u can date someone and it comes natural to meet the parents .....in my case cant really say im comfortable with presenting someone to my parents because they end up criticizing the guy well especially my dad who cant stand to see me growing up !
with one of my ex bf i stay in touch with his mom ....like i really love her and likes to get some news from her she's just so cool that i consider her like a close person and she keeps telling me anyway im still belonging to the family hehe:p but i think it's important to have a good contact with family like good vibes cuz they can have a big influence of the person u are with ! |

| No freaking way..I think I'm too young to be introducing girls I'm dating to my parents. I'm in no rush to get married and chances are..the girl i'm dating now wont be my wife.. |

sometimes i've had to introduce my mom to a guy i was dating kind of early but it wasn't really planned. my mom and i are pretty close and sometimes it just happens. i dont really make a big deal about it because it's my mom. my dad, on the other hand, it's usually a big deal because he doesn't live near me, so in order for someone to meet him, we'd have to go visit him, or arrange for the guy i'm with to meet my dad if/when he comes to florida.
but as i get older, i'm starting to not want to introduce any guys to my parents for a while. my new FB wanted to go to my birthday dinner the other night, and i felt obligated to say, "sure, u can come" but inside i was really not wanting my mom to meet him, but he ended up not being able to make it and just met me afterwards for drinks so i was happy about that. |
