| The funny thing is a year ago Sander K wouldn't have brought out such a large crowd....amazing how things can change in one year due to one track. |

no, we expect him to play somewhere else.
no hate here, Val, but you have to agree that TiL is not the right venue for such DJ as Sander. |
+1

hah...well that sucks! I went to Pur and had a ing blast :D |
I was actually going to bail on PUR and hit This is London around 12ish... but after hearing the cover is $30 with the guestlist and the lineup is insane, the decision was easy - it! Spent those $30 on booze at PUR and pretty much enjoyed the rest of the night there... good beats, Jeff! ;) |

| TIL is actually a great venue for a dj like sander. They just need to CONTROL THE CROWDS!!!!!!!!!!! about 100 fewer people and it woulda been real magic. |

yo yo i think the reason last night was insane was everyone that went to system lsat year for sander told everyone how awsome it was plus the fact that the set was available! the prooof is in the pudding |

I enjoyed myself.. as RJ said my enjoyment came mostly from the company of those around me.. lots of friendly faces and good conversations.
We arrived shortly after 10 to see they had not started letting people in yet.. thank goodness for connections and I got right in. It meant not taking advantage of the reduced cover.. but I weighed my options and it seemed logical to go with rapid entry over saving $10.
We were some of the first people in the bar.. minus the 100 or so Scotia Bank employees who were still there as Scotia had hosted a private function at TIL earlier in the evening.. Weirdest vibe ever.. me, Jon, Steve and a few others mixed with suits and ties of all ages.
Brad Copeland warmed the crowd up nicely.. Sander came on around 12:30. His tunes had me moving but he was just mediocre in my opinion. When Sander was at System last November I left the bar knowing I enjoyed myself but I did not feel that it was anything to write home about. I then went to WMC not expecting much from him .. and was blown out of the water. I ranked Sander as my best party of WMC (keeping in mind I met Erick at the Subliminal party) and most definetly a contender for party of the year. Fast forward to last night I was left with the same feeling I had at System last year. A good night of tunes but nothing spectacular.
Those who decided to stay home.. I can say you did not miss out on anything spectacular. You made a wise decision.. Just as those who went I am sure like myself enjoyed their time but did not have a legendary night.
It was nice to meet some fresh faces.. and even nicer spend time with the faces I know so well and love.
My question of the night was answered with he played This is London.. :D |

i had a wikked time at TIL (except for the annoyances everybody pointed out). Got there around midnight to find out the guest line was a kilometer long :eyes: . After waiting what it looks like forever we got in around 1 (damn it, it was cold last nite).
Once inside we went upstairs and stayed all night there, there was actually space and had a lot of fun dancing with my friends. Excelent vibe in the upper floor, downstairs was quite rammed.
Sander's set was good but nothing spectacular, i was expecting some kool visualizations but saw nothing of the kind (i think the tvs were showing the same stuff all the time).
Glad to see so many TAs.
rabbitjoker, i think it was u the dude i burned with my cigarette, sorry brother it definitely was not my intention :o
jason, i was trying to explain you who i was but u didn't get it :haha: you told me - i have never seen u before.
