I've always wanted to ask people this question and get insight from
people on a broader scale the question that comes off of so many
people's lips that I talk to:
How is the club scene in Toronto these days?
What do you think? Feedback here, because I'd really like to know
what everything thinks is good about the club scene, and what they
think is wrong with the club scene in Toronto. I ask this because
besides who I know, many club related people (owners, managers etc)
do read things on this site obviously so this is a great place to
leave this kind of feedback.

good discussion, though i'm sure it's been brought up many times.
without going into too much detail ( cause im writing a paper atm ) i'd chooce option c. the club scene in Toronto is alright but could use some minor improvments. |

$$, boobs and grey goose > music in Toronto
which is not right!
but again, I assume it's like that everywhere else too :)
I have my complaints regarding scene in Tdot, but I can deal with that and I would say that we are lucky that we live in Toronto still. |

+1...consdering the fact that we only have a few decent venues in the hammer...if I wanna go party, gotta drive east! |

The Toronto scene is pretty solid, there is tons of local talent. Not only that, they bring in tons of big names every month. Sure there is a bit of sketch, but don't focus on that, focus on the music and you'll always have a great time. After moving out here to Alberta, there isn't a single place that plays house. Not that I've found yet at least. |

the breaks scene needs a kick in the head and the breakers need to be educated |

The venues for the most part are really good.
But the crowds? The crowds need to lighten up, learn how to have fun, and learn how to show enthusiasm.
The music at afterhours venues is good but the mainstream has gone to in recent years.
Less hip hop and more dance music... its a club for F sake! |

when i think of club scene... i thinkg of after hours, so i voted that it is ok right now. The mainstream club scene is terrible and we all know that so lets not even talk about that.
the only city i partied in other then toronto to is cancun, and let me tell you i went there with huge expectations. i thought i will be blown away by music/clubs/crowds.
and after 3 days i wished i was partying back in toronto. so based on my visits to cancun i say that our scene is great and we should all be happy to have it here |
