| I spent the first half of the night in the basement......the people nyc dj's were rippin it including Tyas!! The music was better downstairs for a good part of the night. Danny started off whack for the first few hours and I couldn't get into it at all.....was having technical problems with the CDJs also......but at some point it was like Danny flipped the switch to mental mode and it was all over after that. The breaks he was dropping were un-ing-real.....been a LONG time since I heard quality breaks at a club.......talk about some sick dancing!! Good seeing everybody out as usual and Jay.....watch the out for my karate chop dance move biaatch!! LOL:haha: Lets see some pics! |

i just remembered me and jay saluting the president hahah.. we were doing military salutes and the pledge of allegiance on the dance floor, arms across our chests and all in front of the booth ROFL.... i was so out of my mind!!!

I think he played this. It wasn't the mix I'm familiar with from Sasha - GU 9 San Francisco.
To be honest, he could have played all 3 other ones now that I've played the samples for barosoap and I. We know we've heard them this week, just sure if it was last night or during the week. There were lots of tracks that people like Digweed and Lee play that I know from sets. Most times, I don't remember track titles since I don't usually have the tracklists on me when I'm listening to the sets. |

yeah im trying to get my hands on that mix of hale bopp... I have the ricky ryan edit...Yeah Howells plays a bunch of the dirty tech-house stuff lee and digweed have been playing lately as well. He is definitely more well rounded musically than both of those guys at the moment as well.
EDIT: I'm sure Burridge played Audio - Mouth To Mouth as well. That darker music that those guys (Burridge,Howells, Digweed) play late night is just mindblowing. Thomas Schumacher - Red Purple has been around for months and months now but it's one of those tracks that has staying power. I put it on a demo of mine in september :) |

Great times on Sat, thanks to everyone who partied it up w/ us downstairs.
I only heard snippets of Howells, he was pretty good but I didn't hang up there long enough to really get into his set. The crowd was def into it. Making the event 18+ had a significant impact on the party. |
