starbucks vs lives
View this Thread in Original format
washout
firday night, 10pm.
myself and my girlfriend just go done eating sushi, bacon scallops, squid salad, and drinking saki and tea.
"chris can you stop and starbucks for me?"
i dont want to, godamnit.
"sure baby."
we walk in, and there are about 10-15 people there.
sitting in this joint, doing whatever they do.
in no way am i offending the quality of starbucks products, i hear its great.
i just felt uncomfortable.
these people, on a friday night, elect to sit an a coffee house ??
immediatly, i dont like these people.
i figured this bad taste comes from somewhere.
on any given friday night, i choose a bar over a coffee house.
i would rather fill my tummy up with straight shot of jager and glasses of yeungling.
i prefer uncomfortable bar seats over modern furniture.
the atmosphere i choose is filled with smoke, though i dont smoke.
in all, i felt sorry for all the friday night starbuckers there, and everywhere.
that is all.

p.s.
there where no black people in there.

that post is racist

I'd much rather spend my time in a coffee house than in a bar.

In a coffee house, you don't have to worry about fights breaking out, second-hand smoke, and drunks. It may sound stale to regularly hang out in such a more relaxed environment, but the find the people to be more respectable, than some of the people you'd run into at a bar.

O RLY? What does their liquor taste like, in comparsion to the mainstream bar liquors?

i prefer the music that bars and clubs have to offer.

I've heard better DJ's and bands in coffeeshops than in big clubs.

I prefer lounges to clubs, and coffeehouses to bars across the board.

I think they have 3 brands, i just tasted one. It really tasted like sweetened coffee more then anything else. I guess Kahula and milk?

well in the big clubs u would expect the cheese and awfulness :D

but in the small clubs u might even get a request in, i find small clubs are better because its tighter and more enclosed
