| When has EA charged for cheats? I know codemasters do it but i havent heard of EA doing it. They do have the nasty habit of yearly cycles and making games that were once good worse every year though. |

negative publicity strikes curiousity, the more people downtalk PS3 the better it will do.
I think ps3 shipping 400K units while Wii rolls out 4M is genious. Obvious it won't make the holiday mark nor will it be able to sell more $600 units compared to a $200-300 unit.
I have some speculation about the Wii, although the design is simple and it looks fun, the novelty of the unit might saturize.
I really stand behind the ps3, i think this soft launch right around the holidays will boost it's 1st half 07 sales up a bunch where as the Wii has the capability of being a 06 Holiday rush buy, then show a slow decline in unit sales through 07. Where as, the slow roll out will hold the unit's integrity well into 07 as games will be produced at an equal rate of the number of units being sold, consistent sales is much better than a one time batch sell. |

EA started doing that with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 and now they are doing the same thing with Need For Speed Carbon. Even though you can unlock all the stuff playing the game all the way through yourself. They feel the need to charge a person who is too lazy to unlock all the things in the games on there own. They can buy the cheats using the micro transactions on the XBox Live Marketplace. |

Nobody is saying the Ps3 is a bad system. Iam sure it will be a great system. But, the ps3 is not as powerful as the 360 (and anyone who wants to challenge me on that i accept). the problem is sony is hyping a system that most people can't afford or take full advantage of. In Canada, its gonna be $650 plus tax. waay too much. How many people do you know that own a LCD tv? Iam the only one of my friends and I paid $5000 for my sony. Most people won't even dish out half of that. |

EA ill be at Wallmart at midnight November 17th getting the Ps3 the Wii is for little kids and throwback gamers (no disrespect). I like the 360 I had it for a while I just am loyal to Sony.
