| To me i always see elections as a waste of time. its not a 50/50 thing, i mean regardless 2 or 4 years later it always ends with "this guy sucks yadda yadda yadda" While i choose not to vote, many may see that as abusing my right to vote. I personally see it as upholding one of our greatest rights we have, My american right to remain silent. Honestly i don't care for politics at all. I have more then enough of it at work. One thing i'm happy to say though, regardless of who wins or loses, you won't see me complaining. Regardless of what canditates say, they are all the same, wolf in sheep clothing. Look at the ads they show on TV, just taking jabs at each other. Yeah that's really what i want elected. Rather then choose the lesser of two evils, i just not rather vote. |

| It would be more applicable if we actually had the right to vote. I hate those ads saying "you have the right to vote". No you don't. |

what do you mean you don't have the right to vote? Did you take history in high school? Unless you are underage or a felon i don't know what you mean.
If you are under 18, then yes are partly right. You don't have the right to vote. If you are a felon then you lost your right to vote. |

Quote it?
The amendments do not say you have the right to vote. They merely say that given the PRIVILEGE to vote you cannot be discriminated against based on religion, gender, race, or sexual preference. |

That does not say you have the right to vote. It says your right cannot be taken away if given to you (note, granted the privilege to) unless you are under 18. |
