Yeah, it seemed pretty assinine (spelling?) but I know what he means, but it's easier said than done.
Anyone got that calulator thing, where it's like, if your with someone "this long" then it will take "this long" to get over her, anyone find that to be true? |

Thing that sucks is, I was with her for 2 years, and she didn't like pot, and I was quite the pot head before I met her, and I quit smoking to be with her, it's like now, when I smoke with some friends, I don't even really get any enjoyment out of it anymore.
This really blows.
Not to mention, I lost my job like 3 weeks ago. |

LOL, no way.
I never even ended up officially dating a certain girl, and our "togetherness" at any level was only like a few weeks TOPS (and again, not formally dating or anything). I still think about her everyday, a year later. It's weird.
So no, I don't believe in that. But I'm pretty sure I have a mental disorder, and I tend to be obsessive, so I'm probably not a good representative of the norm. |

don't be ridiculous...no calculator will tell you how long it will take you to get over someone, it's all up to you.
do you want her back? maybe you could get her back.... |

the "norm" what is it anyway? I guess everything is always going to be different for every person depending on their emotional scale, and I guess loneliness scale.
I feel like most of my friends, aren't really friends anymore, and any new people I meet seem to be asses themselves. At what point, do you unfriend a friend who hasn't been much of a friend anymore?
Sorry to half-drunken ramble, but I think that's what the CoR is all about, answers, and many answers, and even those answers from people who don't really give a , because that's part of the comedy right? |

maybe you missed the part where his friends aren't answering his calls? therefore he turns to the CoR for advice.

See that's the huge debate...pretty much she said if I wanted to get back with her, i'd have to quit drinking, quit parting, quit hanging out with my friends (because she hates them, but I'm starting to grow stale of them too) and pretty much be sober 24/7.
Which, she would be worth all of that and more, the problem is, I keep contemplating it, and just when I thought I've come up with a good decision, a friend hits me up on my cell and is like "hey man, I just got some good smoke man, you should come by" and I go back to square 1. |

No . I think my problem is, I can't make up my mind right now. I'm 23 years old, haven't been legally allowed to drink for that long, and I think I just gotta get it out of my system, the problem is, she's 25, wants to settle down, have a home, and not party at all anymore. I don' t know if I'm ready for that, but I do miss being with her. |
