Beyond that, I just don't think the character works in the least when you have someone like Conan or Jon Stewart who is so clearly "in" on the joke. It's the interviews and sketches he's done where people have no clue who he is or what he's going to do that are gold; That Conan interview in particular was painful to watch. :( |

oh and i saw the movie before really knowing about the Ali G show. i don't watch that much TV...maybe one or 2 shows, so I hadn't heard of him. i thought the movie was the first time he came out with that.
so i was at a friend's on saturday and we were watching it...hilarious!! he was acting like this gay austrian reporter and he was interviewing football players. lmao
i was dying laughing. |

The reporter is Bruno, that's actually his next movie. I believe FOX bought the rights for 30 mil or something right? |

I think my favorite Bruno moment is when he interviewed the hair stylist, that was in great. |

What about when he interviewed this boutique owner and he says, "Tell us about the time Madonna came into the store". And he's like, "She's never been here", but ended up telling the story anyway. Oh man, Bruno is so much funnier than Borat. |
