If you like to get high i would say
150 euro a day. (Considering all the rest of journey is already paid accomodation and one dinner a day)
I.E
1 x 40 = 40 E for entrance
7 x 5 = 35 E for 5 bottles of water during the night
4 x 9 = 36 E for E (it depends but a the end of the week 4 is a normal average ;) )
2 x 2 = 4 E for discobus
total clubbing a night = 115 Euro
The rest is for breakfast and one dinner more and xtra the day off like jet ski, rent a motorbike during the day off, cigarette, weed, some energy drink @ cafe del mar... So merchandised T_shirt and some Ibiza compilations or 12''.
Btw, don't stay two weeks if you go to ibiza to club.
I spent three weeks on bed after getting a disease there.
Always goin from hot area to fresh area, all the time and my throat did not bear that. Furthermore, at the end, you've lost appetite :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:.
So me and my friends we recommend only one week with two or three days off clubbing.
the first time, i did go out each night and it really killed me. |

But how are the people of Ibiza? would be be pretty cool to the Stupid American? (Also, i'm Indian, think i might get extra points for that? :))
basically, how is thier attitude towards Americans and/or different ethnicities.

Except a minority of the staff in the service branch are mean whoever you are. Probably loads of hard work in tourist season is taking its toll.

Ya vesa, the night im most excited for is Godskitchen. Pretty much juts for teh fact that John'00 is a GC man, my 19th birthday falls on the GC night and i pray to god hes spinning :D
the people you went through for the package deals, do you know if they offer packages for people outside the UK, I live in the west coast of Canada. With prices like the ones you mentiond i might actually be able to afford 2 weeks.

Be sure of one thing Ibiza isn't not spanish at all.
Cost too much, and with the pesetas before the cost of life on the island it's way too much expensive. All the island get £ prices during the summer. So, for English it doesn't sound that much but for Spanish it's huge.
It's just a non declared colony of british empire ;)
No really during the summer, taxi would be really surprised if you talk in spanish.
It's a way of gaining trust of locals...
But else all the island speaks english and english only.
80 % of the tourist popultation is english or english spoken compliant.
Almost every seasonal employees are english there.
For instance, there is a very special job there.
PR as Public Relation, you'll see guys everywhere giving flyers for the nights in the clubs. They gain entrance for the clubs and 1,5 Euro per ppl goin' with their flyer and paying @ the door.

I met one guy a french one in 1999 who was designing sands statues on the beach to gain some money from tourists.
The kind of hippie guy but as old as me let say 28.
He took a ticket to Ibiza one day for vacations.
In Y2K, i saw him and in 2001 i saw him at new.
It's almost like "the beach" for some backpackers guys.
he stuck on this Island.
During winter time they are only 25 000 locals on the island and the cost of life is divided by 3. So they earn money during summer and take an endless summer during wintertime.
There is all a small community, but when they are stuck they cannot go back home. really special i had hours of conv' with this guys, telling me some secrets about how was working this sometimes paradise, sometimes hell island.
In regards of the mushroom, i never ever heard anything about that. Only chemicals on the island except weed and it's not weed it's much more hash (morrocco just miles from here).
So for trippy visuals, i don't know how you'll manage this.
I met always the same guys dealing @ Mambo and i even know their names, but they're not selling other stuff then : E, CC, Special K, Hash.
Just some warning about some friendly dealers who are really kewl with you saying well i stay with you till you get the effect and then you buy me the numbers of E you want.
And instead of E, they make you dropped Ketamine, you get stuck and they stole you watch, wallet...
So with some kewl guys like this, if one of you wanna be a guinea pig and test, i would say always stay with another trust guy, to be sure that they won't .
But, believe me, i have almost never 'xperienced such a marvellous time than with the stuff they sell there. CLASS A stuff.
In 99, i had blue smurff. Cos' of this i will always remember this cheesy tune "Eiffel 65 - Im' blue" they were spending mainstream in the clubs with atb - till i come.
In Y2K, the best stuff i ever had "blue versace" this E are small pieces of art. The versace face is not stapped but drawn in 3D on the E on both faces. You watch it about three minutes before dropping it cos ' of such a magnifiscent design.
In 2001, it was Titi as in the yellow bird.... and yellow versace.
Well, end of souvenirs, but really for this island it's a paradise on earth.
But, it's also MONEY ISLAND. take cash with you many place where you can only pay with cash. |

In regards of this, i'll say that the cheaper prices you can get in Europe are the one from U.K.
Go to http://www.holidays-in-ibiza.co.uk or www.virgin.co.uk in may, june to book, check out their package and really think about taking a ticket to london instead fo dealing with your local canadian tour operator.
Even from a french, it worth the travel to go to london in regards of the discount prices. Furthermore in this kind of package you a pass to the clubs for all the week so no entrance fee in addition...

Well, just to give one example ;)
But one that is delicious.
When you go outside of Es paradis, one big club, ppl are goin' to take a bath in the harbour on the beach.
So they 're cained, wasted.
And they go dress up, not taking time to remove their clothe in the sea to have a bath.
Some of them go their with other girls just met in the club few hours ago but totally high on E.
And when i say high it's damn high.
So, they are goin in to the sea at 25 meters from the beach. it's not very deep sea in the harbour.
And they seat and they are beginning to shag. Remove trousers and skirt and shaging in the water.
You can hear the girl screaming from the beach, you can have a look to them ing and trainspotters just stuck all along the beack watching ppl into the sea.
And cos of E, it lasts damn long.
But i let you imagine not only the look of the dick of the guy but the look of this filled of sea water, sands...
I have heard many girls had to go to the doctor cos of disease.
No need to say that when some are ing, the lagers guys are taking a pee in this same sea.
So this sea is disgusting at hell, cos' they 're taking a pee after clubbing and during the day they are taking a bath in it ;)
No really this island is definitely crazy.
You can shag alsmot everywhere, girls are hot and on drugs.
But really you're so high sometimes that you really don't care about shagging, just praying PvD @ dream playing this damn long mix of Silence in search of sunrise remix... |
