Anyone here getting a PS3 or already got your Pre-orders?
Me and few ppl are going to go camp out on Thursday I think to get one.
I don't really want right now, but could use a few extra dollars. Will try and get one and sell for a profit...Need some extra money for Xmas. |

the stores didnt just have pre-orders for all of their units?
They actually have some aside from that? hmmm.... |

Best Buy didn't have ANY for pre-sale.
not in Canada or US...
EB Games did...
So we'll be camping out at Best Buy in Leaside! Woohoo! |

I'm not a big fan of the Wii concept. I don't have much time to game, and when I do..i'm sooo lazy. I can't see myself doing any phyiscal activity while playing..eventhough it's probably good for your health!
I do think that the Wii is very innovate and a great concept...and because of its price, will eventually pick one up...
I got myself a 360 a while ago and love it...will get a PS3 in due time... |

| I used to be a big gamer back in the day but will probably forego the Ps3 until the MSG game comes out and will definitely pick up a Wii. I like the idea of getting a semi-workout with gaming and it'll be perfect for the setup I have with the 61" tv. |

| The only thing I hate is that the Wii doesn't have HD support. 480p isn't good enough. Then again, what do you want for $280. |

I was actually shocked by just how slow the Wii really is; although when its dedicated hardware, it is not neccessary to have as much power on board.
The price is awesome, I want one so bad. |

I'll see you a PS3 for $1,500US...
But yeah...it depends.
If money's no issue then:
If you like shooter games/Western (North American) type games -> 360
If you like crazy japanese, or JRPG style games -> PS3
If you like innovate, weird games -> Wii
If you want stuff that has added features, like Blue-Ray, or HD-DVD..then its upto you..
I have a 360 and love it. It's good because its been out for a year now so developers have had time to work with it and stuff. You'll need to give the PS3 some time before they start producing some decent looking games. |
