actually for ATB they were totally allowed because a ton of peope had them and photon lights |

| I might come out to this. Glad they're not afraid to come to NYC anymore. Their set last time was all right. I'm a little more hyped for Boys Noize coming through later on in December.:eek: |

:rolleyes: you dont know what the sticks are about. myself and 3 other nyc people are very good at it...to the point where we have corporate sponsors.
i know what you mean about the people that just flail around with them in their arms thinking they are badass, but we treat it as an artform. in addition we provide a service to the crowd and get nothing but positive feedback wherever we go ;) we are not overbearing about it, we pick our spots wisely (based both on location and track selection). you'd be amazed how much we light up peoples' night :toocool: it's all done for the love of the music.
most of the time tho it's the dj's call on allowing the sticks or not, but sometimes clubs dont allow them because the people that use strings present a hazard to the rest of the crowd (we do not use strings). all the dj's that truly love the culture and arent just in it for the money allow people to stick tho. last time i saw A&B we were allowed to bring sticks in so im hoping Pacha is cool about it... |
