Warning - BT DLing

A co-worker of mine got a letter from his ISP and they gave him a warning about DLing BTs. He downloaded something w/ Bitcomet on TorrentSpy. Apparently, there are some fake torrents on that site to track you or something.
I barely use TorrentSpy and I ain't gonna risk it if this is true. |

they have been sending out letters for a while actually. Usually its to people who download a lot! Ive only heard of a letter to a smaller user once...

| i have had Rogers since i moved here. Never had any problems or got any letters and on a well seeded Torrent i get 400 to 500 KB/s :) and i download AND upload like you wouldnt beleive lolz. |

| I have had many coworkers receive an email from Rogers, at Paramount's Request, in regards to Torrents they were downloading. Obviously, they were movies. Think of it as you may, we all know its wrong anyways... |

got an email from i think paramount when i was in school for SHARING resident evil 2.
