Zelda Twilight Princess reviewed for the Wii (pg. 2)

Guys remember, this is basically a Gamecube game, ported over for use with the Wii controller.
The NEXT Zelda game will be made exclusively for the Wii, and you can bet the graphics will be 2-3X as good.
Still, I think TP looks impressive as it is. |

The vast majority of gaming journalists have already picked this as their "Game of Christmas 2006" over both Gears of War and Resistance of Man.
I'm guessing it's prety good ;) |

I'm going to make a radical statement in this thread.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker were all bad, bad games who are no where near worthy of the level praise they received. A Link to the Past is the last truly great Zelda game, much in the same way Super Metroid is the last great Metroid game (though Fusion and Zero Mission were both also great).
Even still, I'm very, very excited for this game. |

the fact that it was still so good despite having some of the worst controls i've ever seen is impressive |

theres no way zelda orcina of time is even remotly considered a bad game and whatever your smoking pass that :p ocarina of time has stood out as one of the best games ever its features have been copied and emulated for everygame after it. first of all it was in 3d!!!! the use of lock in battles 3rd and first person views (shootin arrows etc) automatic jumping that doesnt you over,large map you get to ride a horse!!!!! lol and plently of game time i dont know how long its been since youve played this game but its not necassarly an easy game try beatin the water temple no guide or even beat the game no guide first time, you wouldnt be able to even get half the side quests or kill any golden spiders, you should really pick this game up and play it again before you knock it ocarina deserves respect, majoras mask not that great but i still loved it |
