The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker were all bad, bad games who are no where near worthy of the level praise they received. A Link to the Past is the last truly great Zelda game, much in the same way Super Metroid is the last great Metroid game (though Fusion and Zero Mission were both also great).

You ever played Zelda - Link's Awakening on GBC? Now that was a ing awesome story! My fav Zelda out of all of them :D
I didn't mind Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. They were both quite good, though I did enjoy OoT more. Never played Wind Waker :( |

I thought the story in that one was pretty weak. The gameplay, on the other hand, was badass.

Maybe I was just so impressed by the overall gameplay, like you. Hmm...it's been a while but no doubt it's right up there with the best :)
I just read the reviews. That first review is ing pathetic. I don't want to read about someone playing through the game otherwise it just ruins everything. Poorly done. I would have the reviewer fired.
The second review is much better. He praises it alot though. Seems like a good game and very large. I love games that take ages to finish but don't get boring. If it's this good and it's basically a GC game, then I can only imagine what the real Wii Zelda will be like. I'm tempted to buy a Wii... |
