A Womans Guide To Talking To Men

Here is a quick and dirty reference guide on how to converse with men, compliments of me.

We will start off with a test question:

Your husband is sitting at a computer doing something. You stick your head in and say "honey, the garbage disposal isn't working".

The man looks up, pauses for a second, and says "Ill take care of it"

What is the correct response?

A. When?
B. Why can't I do it?
C. What are you working on?
D. Ok, thank you.

The answer is D. and here is why

When you ask a busy man a question he has three possible reactions:
1. Giving you the solution right then and there
2. Give you the solution later.
3. Do it himself and save the time, frustration, and lost train of thought/tranquility that he had been in before you interrupted.

So in this scenario the man thought for a second and realized that the woman had probably already tried flipping the switch.

So the answer was either something was stuck inside and you didnt want to have to have her reach in there and unstick it while potentially having power go to it;

Trying to explain how the nut on the bottom of the disposal can be turned manually with the correct socket to help unplug;

or it being an electrical issue which even you would have to figure out what the problem was.

He decided that he would just have to figure it out because any of the previous three explanations would be too long, take too much effort, and be ultimately futile.

He made the decision to do it himself.

Respect that decision, dont ask why, when, how, or what he is doing (a known trap because as soon as he answers youll deem it unimportant and start being upset that he is valuing that over you).

So in the future, respect the man choice, please. He seriously doesn't want to talk about it if he doesn't answer.

edit: I just realized that it was a trick question.

The real answer is : Dont bother men when they are working. If it isn't something really important, just wait until he is done, or write it down somewhere so you don't forget.

Because as soon as you mention it and walk away he will turn around, try to get back to what he was doing, and fail. Because he now knows you are there walking a groove around the kitchen table waiting for him to fix the disposal because you have FIS (female insanity syndrome) running full blast, and your neurosis will not be cured until resolution of said issue.

Ok, my thought it done I can sleep now.

And his response if she asked the same question a split second before she relises he's actually fapping and not working? :p
