documentary on rave religion

Hello everyone,
I am researching a documentary on finding spirituality through drugs and music and I am looking for a woman who is a visible minority who regularly takes ecstasy and attends raves for a spiritual purpose. This person would need to be willing to not only talk about her experiences on-camera but also take us with her on her spiritual journey. I can be reached by email at [email protected].
Thanks and I hope to hear from you!
Peace and love,
Layal

some good text based research if you have not consulted it already is William James, The Varieties of the Religious Experience. Check out the chapters on "Healthy Mindedness", "The Sick Soul", and "Mysticism". Basically, James, one of the great Religious Philosophers, advocates that religion is useful on the personal level. He is in favor of drug induced religion because it always creates a unique religious experience that is inexplicable to people other than the participant himself.

His book is also the basis for the AA handbook.

Hope I've been helpful. Good Luck with your documentary.

Yeah I like Tiesto - I am only pursuing this idea because I have experienced it myself.

Yeah, burnt out ravers are definitely the best source for interviews for a legitimate documentary.

I'd probably watch this just for a laugh.

So would you say that your experience has always been the same or has it changed? Sometimes heaven can turn into hell but i don't think the heaven is an illusion even if it doesn't last....IF that isn't the reason you go back what is? Maybe it's just to party and not give a and enjoy music and being comfortable in a scene etc...but i think there is something more to it than that

There isn't. You're already through the looking glass m8 - Disappointing, huh?

For me it's more like Narnia than alice in wonderland - sometimes you go through the wardrobe and its amazing and sometimes it's just a stinky closet. But I would say that there has been times when i have felt more connected to something beyond and to so many others around me than any other time.

I guess it has been different for me but i wouldnt describe myself as a burnt out raver cause i never exhausted the path.

It really just sounds like you're reading a bit much into the chemical reactions going on in your brain.
