ok i'll keep going... Got there early. Edgar's opening set was a detailed work of art. He went from playing crappy minimal around 10:30 to banging tech house right before pvd. And you couldn't tell he had started transitioning into harder stuff, it just happened.
PVD came on and from the 1st or 2nd track, he took off. I'm talking super high bpm's bass banging awesomeness. Tracks i could remember off the top of my head are duderstadt - muhanjala (original mix?), Fred Baker - Lunar Eclipse, Rank1 - Beats@rank1, Gole Behr - Carabella, yes i know i mispelled that but whatever. His set had unbelievable energy and he was even doing his kung fu moves so u konw he was having fun.
It was a bit packed but nothing standing on the box couldn't fix....

pvd only played 3 hrs, from 1 to 4, and edgar was forced to play house after such an amazing set =0(. I later found out that the reason he stopped at 4 was because he was catching a flight to somewhere in mexico at 6 am. oh well, til the next time
That's it in a nutshell... TA turnout was HUUUUUUUUUUGGGGEEEEEEEEEE
I haven't seen that many TA's together since Koky's bday lol.

Good review, Richie. From what Eric and Ivan have told me so far PVD did a great job, and I'm glad you all had fun. None of that for me tho.

I was there and PVD surprised me with his incredible bang-up set! I actually think Club Space bites it, because there the club just is very small and the layout sucks(The VIP is way in the back), but what choice do we have when they get all the top DJ's. Mansion would be a much better venue, had it not been for the 5AM shutdown there... Anyone else have the bums outside follow you all the way to your car when leaving? I was honored to have a bum escort! JK LOL :toothless
Yeh, I forgot to mention Edgar's set. He did a kick ass job and he had a Pink Floyd remix in there. I like how he mixed in a couple of genres, like at one point it sounded like break beat, trance, and house.
PVD was good, but I think where he falls short is in putting in memorable tracks...whatever, just rambling and think he did great overall... |

| got there around 11 grabbed some drinks with my brother freaking 22 dollars for 2 redbull vodkas :whip: haha but whatever edgars set was nasty especailly when he played pink floyd brick in the wall remix :eyespop: :eyespop: pvds set was good but nothing that really left me with a lasting impression went up to the terrace around 5 my brother wanted to listen to some house :mad: i felt like dieing i was finally to hungry and tired around 530 and i told him we had to leave now! it was really cool meeting and seeing alot of tas there. there was alot of people there period it was soooo packed it was ridiculous |

Wow, what a night!!!!! ing Mansion were selling some enterances for $125. I sold my 2 extra tickets for $75 each. Its a shady business :nervous:
Funny thing when I left my house in my car I heard the same songs @ Mansion, then Edgar played them again when I got to space around 12:45!!!
Most of the tracks were easy for me to I.D. And there were super HPM last night, which made it banging all night!!
As soon as my phone turns on I would have all the tracks posted. As always PvD has me thinking what the was that sick intro!! :whip:
And yes there were loops of A life Elsewhere before Carabella came on, also like there was for the Ronski Speed tune!! Ive heard those tunes too many time to miss a proper I.D ;) |
