Nice thread. Dark Angel do you happen to be also a member of the Neogaf gaming forum??
Anyway, the NES has brought so many people a happy youth. Hell yeah, games like Double Dragon, Kickle Cubicle, River City Ransom.
Oh good times.

Regular pen caps are ghetto, go steal a straw from 7-11. |
There's wasn't enough snow to use a straw at the time. :(

I remember back in the day when brand new NES games ran for $49.99....when River City Ransom first came out, I saw it in my local toy store for only $24.95. I was like, Wow that's half the price! I bought it and ended up loving the game (and still do.) I guess they underestimated the game and put that price of $24.95 on it for that reason. |

if you think the Wii is the only system capable of playing the games of those platforms above, boy have you been living under a rock. Those systems and games have been emulated for years now and can virtually run on any new HD based console.
Trust me...I've seen PSPs that can flush a toliet, open a garage door, and control a cable box. Not to mention you can sling a PSP and watch your home cable via wifi. |
there were emulators for sega dreamcast that played nes/snes/sega genesis/turbo grafx.. no HD needed - just use a CD.
but his point is that not many people know about these kind of things.. only internet geeks and those that hear it from others.. generally not that many know so nintendo included it in the Wii as xbox did the arcade classics... nintendo said we got like 1,000+ games in our library that people love and they will buy it again since its $10 or less and they dont even need to go to the store or burn this and copy that.. just use the wii shop channel and voila. |

Bleemcast FTW!
Unfortunately, I think it only worked with PlayStation 1 games.
Unless you're talking about something else? |

The only bad thing about that game was the fact that for some weird reason they didn't include any in-game gore (i.e. zombie's heads being blown apart by a shotgun blast.)
There was still plenty of nastyiness in the cinemas but still...
IMO SoulCalibur and Marvel vs. Capcom/Marvel vs. Capcom 2 are among the greatest games ever made for the DC. |
