And yet, there were plenty of pesky things for the DC, as well.

One of the worst? Controller cord placement. WTF was that all about?

Still, it's Cloud's opinion so there's no reason to try to prove him wrong. Because he isn't.

I still got my House of the Dead 2 with dual guns. FTW!

Dreamcast was really bad. :/

It may not have been the best console ever, but at least Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike was released for Dreamcast in Europe.

I want that game so bad.

if it were like, three feet longer i wouldn't have minded. i had multiple dreamcasts but i sold them. i used the dc mainly for emulation, and the xbox does emulation 50x better. they had some excellent titles though. shenmue, virtua tennis, all of the arcade fighters, ikaruga, grandia, etc etc.

um.. nes ftw though. i <3 river city ransom

Meh, I don't think my laptop will be able to run a Dreamcast emulator. Thanks for the tip though!

CONNERMAN2000
I honestly do believe that the Dreamcast was the most underrated system in history. It was practically the first console to showcase actual realistic graphics. Saying that is very subjective, I know, but Ill never forget the first time I laid eyes on NFL2K. After that, I was unable to play any Madden or GameDay on PSone. Plus it paved the way for console online multiplayer by introducing the first centralized network that allowed people to play with each other from all over. Phantasy Star Online and Quake 3 come to mind here.

And I've never played Shenmue. People tell me its very slow and extremely long, so I decided to avoid it thinking I wouldnt like it. Now I'm regretting as such and now I wanna play it.

sorry but the first centralized network was xband for snes and sega genesis.

it was basically a 14.4 or 28.8 modem that let you play 1v1 (Killer Instinct, Street Fighter, NBA Jam, a hockey game and others) games against other people, it was the first of its kind and it was awesome. you dialed into the network and put yourself in a waiting status. then if someone was available or waiting like you, it would connect you 2 by the modem dialing into their actual line and then connecting, and u start playing against each other.
