I paid for about 50% of mine with my last quarter bonus, 15% with my trade in, the remainder is financed. Now, I'm paid a $600/month car allowance by my employer which is more then sufficient to cover the payments and insurance.... whether that counts as paying for it myself or not I'll leave you to judge. |

My car = Leftovers from stepfather.
He purchased the car in '99. Put about 70k on it. Then handed it off to me after taking $2,000 out of my bank account and getting himself an Acura TL 2003. He recently got a 2006 TL.
The family has a joint insurance so I don't contribute. I do pay for maintenance and other stuff. |
