it doesnt matter how many were there the fact is a NYC gig was not scheduled and for a good reason. he was playing LA, Miami, and Vegas. assuming that many people even went to those events, which is hard for me to believe that any dj in the us could get that many people to come out, no way nyc could have supported such an event. |

Maybe you missed PvD @ Roxy, PvD @ Ikon, Sasha @ Avalon NYE, or any of the other insanely packed events I've attended here or heard about from my girlfriend. Plus, if this were a Sensation, TIC, or some other mega-event, people are much more likely to travel here than for a usual club gig.
Tiesto was also supposed to play in Washington, D.C., which definitely doesn't have a larger scene than NYC and the surrounding areas where we draw crowds from. |

i was at many of those events you mentioned and as crowded as they were they didnt even begin to near 10k-15k they were 3k-5k tops.
Tiesto was also supposed to play in Washington, D.C., supposed to or did? i know the miami event was canceled because of a hurricane didnt hear anything about the dc event, but heard the entire tour was not very successful. |

It was supposed to happen, but Tiesto's people cancelled because they couldn't set up the event quickly enough after the U2 concert the night before.
He was also supposed to do one in Louisiana, which was cancelled like Miami due to the hurricane. Also, LA and Vegas went very well from what I heard, which were the only two that happened.
As for the others that I mentioned, I think that the people who bought tickets yet never got into Roxy in November 2005 would disagree with you regarding them not being able to sell enough tickets, and that was just for PvD. |

assuming there were 3.5k inside for roxy (i think that a generous estimate) i dont think 6.5k people didnt get in. yea no doubt PVD can fill up a joint but not 10K-15K no way. of course they can fill up these venues but not 10-15k |

Whatever this event is, I think we should be on a comp admission guestlist with an open bar... all night.

The only thing further that I'll say is that Roxy holds more than 3500 people. If you don't want to believe that an event that neither you nor I even have any details for can't bring in crowds, go right ahead. |

| armin had 2 nights at tobacco warehouse and as lee pointed out, pvd had 2 nights for summerstage. i think it could happen if you get a good lineup of dj's. i don't think anyone would be planning such a large event with just one single headliner. |

| damnn that would be sick, although this event is obviously not planned for Sensation. I am hoping that if this were to happen that it goes down at MSG or imagine a huge line up at a stadium (of course stadium here would never happen though)that would be amazing |
