Post your assumptions about all of us from the U.S.

The lot of you certainly have plenty of them. Let's get them all out in the open here, what is it that you think ALL of us do that's so irritating to the rest of you?

I certainly read about the things that "all" Americans do on here often enough, I'd like to know the actions that define me as a person since I am so clearly clueless as to my own nature... :conf:

I have met lots of Americans who are great fun and love to party. The majority of Americans are great, and we certainly enjoy a lot of culture, food and technology that comes from the US. However, I think its the case of "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch".

A lot of foreigners feel hostile towards Americans in general because of the actions of your government(s) and the foreign policy of your country. Some people take this further and say that they "hate Americans", when it is really the US government that they hate.

Every country and every race has its dumbasses - people just like to stereotype and make assumptions. It's human nature.

You aren't even a part of it, how can you make that assertion?

Our society certainly has it's significant flaws, but to write it off as "" is about as shortsighted as you can get.

Many of you enjoy aspects of our "" society every single day.

My visit to the US this month certainly gave me a much more positive look on the country and its inhabitants.

hmmmm

You think ALL Canadians live in igloos, and that we say "aboot" instead of "about". ALOT of Americans are just ignorant towards Canada.
