What's your favourite style of trance and why?
Personally, I find Rhetorical Trance to be something of a moot genre. I much prefer Municipal Hardcore. |

I'm not sure I agree mate.
Prog's now been largely subsumed into the broader genre of melancholic moon.
I'm not usually a big fan of house music but Suspicous House is really picking up in the UK.
I hate all kinds of Garage though, espescially this new "Realistic Garage" which is bursting into the London scene at the moment :whip: |

My favourite is a bit of dangerous acid with catastrophic drum n bass, all thrown over the top of some steaming suspicous garage, lightly simmered for 5 minutes with genetic hardcore. Sprinkle on some nice wooden synths and you get a damn tasty tune that will get the crowds JUMPIN!
Catastrophic drum n bass has had its day a bit, but Genetic Hardcore, which started out in Vietnam, is starting to take the UK music scene by storm. Look out for multidimensional progressive and philosophical trance as well.
Has anyone heard DJ Arsehole's latest hit, "too much pentetration". It's set to take the Ignorant Trance scene by storm. He's already made his name as a Resident at one of Ibiza's biggest clubs, the Brown Banana, and he's gaining popularity with his leathery beats and sweaty synths. |

I like every trace subgener..
progressiveTrance is a subgener of trance..
Any dj and producer know that Progressive is part of trance and they call it progressive because people percieve it differently
