Dan, dont get me wrong in a sense that my first language is russian. Although i have never lived there fully. Then again most of my friends around the world are either russians or of Soviet origins. However, there are different ppl who come to Russia for different reasons. Some are drug dealers. Others are innocent peaceful ppl from rural areas who come to build your houses, cuz there is a demand for this ppl in Russia, and there are no jobs back home. Its true that some of them turn to burglary, and murder, but its a tiny minority.
Metalgearsolid, stfu! You sound like a russian immigrant who immigrated to USA/Canada who is very very pissed off with everything cuz he isnt considered American in states and Russian at home. OR perhaps you hang around with russians who are of that type. Stfu, as you are talkin complete massive loads of bollocks!!!
If you know it, Russia is one of the most diverse countries in the world. Russians as of blue eyes blond hair, almost cetainly have some mongol, polish, caucasian, nordic or even french and german blood in them. The rest of republics which make up Russian Federation are Tatar, Kalmik, All the northern caucasian region, Siberia is populated with their small nations. However, therre is a growing tendency for kids from white backgrounds to have jack to do on the streets, and nazi s recruit them and brainwash them. Trust me if it grows to this levels in the States(and it can) dude, you'll be ed! Cuz the society is even less tolerant in certain areas than in Russia. |

Why'd you move!? I was there last summer. It was a really beautiful city. And a lot of beauties there, man I was running all over trying to sleep with the girls. They are smart and pretty and they were friendly. |

Its kind of funny reading the responses of others about an ethnic culture and race they know very little about. Metalgearsolid, some of the posts you made in this thread are ridiculously naive and uninformed. Yet, you go on to state the 'obvious' mentality of Russians. Its kind of hard to put into perspective the motive of actions of a culture if you don't live there. Even if you know very many Russians, your total number of Russians you know hardly is a large or diverse enough of an example pool to form a well-rounded opinion. Usually speaking, people of like ideas hang out together, thus probably most of the Russians you know are very alike in their thinking. Hardly representative of the whole Russian nation.
Further, you mentioned how the rest of Europe is far more liberal racially than Russia. What part of Europe exactly are you refering to? From my own experience, based on the places I've lived in, and certain places in North America fall into this category as well, I've yet to see a single country that doesn't exibit some form of racial prejudice. |

Absolutely. My uncle runs a construction company and most of his workers are honest immigrants from uzbekh, tadjeck etc. Of course there are good people immigrating to Russia to earn a good living and Russia welcomes them. The people cant stand the type where you have to watch your ass when you walk around them. And of course there people like that who are Russian, every nation has their share of idiots.
