my first time at an afterhours club was with my dad.
expose them to the music early, tell them about the scene and your times in it (all things good AND bad). IF you have done your job and brought the child up with good morales and good values....you should have no trouble.
My dad and I have a truly remarkable relationship that goes far beyond a normal father / son relationship and I would'nt change that for the world!!!!
im not voting on this because that first option makes it sound like me and my kid are gonna go on 3 day party/drug benders and No i wouldn't do that.... |

Would you object or be opposed to them being in the scene (discovered entirely on their own accord) though? |

Probably one of the best votes I have seen so far.
I will not be partying when or if I do have kids. Once I enter into parenthood, that will end this part of my life. I expect I will still go out once in a while, but only consuming a few alcoholic beverages.
Being a parent is alot of responsibility and I would not bring a child into this world where they are exposed to sketchy mondays and all night events on a regular basis. That just invites bad things to happen.
I am sure that if this was the road they wanted to choose and party as I have, then that is their choice without my own influences. |

| just like chinamon said, i would let them find it themselves. although if i find them doing some bad at a young age, ill take em to zone and leave them to teach them a lesson |

the problem with that is they might enjoy it and never leave. then you've got a crackhead son/daughter to deal with. |

If they wanted to get into it, I'd sit them down for a talk - def wouldn't let them out of the house for them until they were at least 18 unless I went with them.
But I don't really see myself having children when I consider myself such a work in progress that I don't see where I can fit in children.
Besides, little Kabels?!?!?!?! ACK! The world would shudder at their birth. :toothless |
