Come up with something ing original in your sets now would ya!!

I'm talking about their livesets !! They're prudtions are all ok, but their sets are all the same predictable . I understand artists supporting artists, but these guys are taking it to a new level!

I'm just angry that I see all these tracklists by these guys, and they are all playing the same tracks all done by each other. I think it's pretty much the whole Euphonic and Discover crew.

end rant!

Agreed.

Supporting someone you know personally and believe in is all fine, but variety is essential :)

Dan Stone from Anjuna played nothing but Anjuna when I saw him, wasn't the best...

Is this something new that has popped up due to all the net labels? I don't remember this happening nearly as much a few years back.

It's a way for the big labels and jocks to stay in power.

Yeh im not a fan of the "Discover Sound" either. Its all big basslines and minimal melodies etc. Just kinda plods along with the occasional big anthem thats been released on their label.

Tyas is just a one trick pony once people realise it more fully he will be forgotten about unless he does something hes not doen much of thats make hot tunes. Hes done a couple but not enough to warrent his hype. Playing sets of all your own tunes is pretty crap as well as demonstrated when Tiesto tried to do it in early 2005.

John O'Callaghan's techier direction hasnt done much for him either for me. Mercury was a genius tune but hes not reached the dizzy heights of that since for me. His collabs with Kearney are very good though to be fair. As a dj hes pretty good but the overload of Discover material in his sets cant make them sound very samey.

Askew is a funny one you either live him or loath his sound. Cant question his talent hes a superb technical dj and plays with a lot of energy. But again his sound is just too ploddy along doesnt really go anywhere its nearly all about the bosh bosh bosh. Mixing trance like techno sometimes sounds good but sometimes just interrupts the flow of a set ala Eddie Halliwell without the naff tricks

What strikes me more is that ppl keep swallowing whatever drivel they put out.

Some people think that Paris Hilton is a singer, don't be amazed by the fact that some people think that Sean Tyas is a good EDM producer.

Fan of the music, not the sets.

I've said for a while that all 3 have the potential and the quality, they just need to stop putting out so much quantity.
