I don't do drugs :-) I occasionally have a few (1 or 2) drinks but not always. I must admit it seems like I am one of the very few there that isn't on something, but I have a great time anyways. I'm there for the music and the DJ's and often overlook the rest. :-) |

Musik Musik Musik! Always. I may get a bit buzzed now and then, but that's about it.
I remember goin to my first rave in January, of this year, and everyone there was on x, some dude I met there later on invited me to go do acid with his group but I declined of course. I still enjoyed the sets played there and I was having fun, while the others were layin like zombies on the floor with their tongues out and eyes rollin crazy. |

I agree with progressiveMOJO on many of his points, including the idea that the EDM scene's appeal(to me and I assume all of you) is first and foremost the music and secondly the free atmosphere. If we didn't love the music, I doubt we'd be here posting.(lex alluded to this, as well)
Having said that, I don't think this thread was created to judge anyone about the choices they make about drugs/alcohol. Going sober is also a part of the judgement-free atmosphere of the EDM scene. IMO, I think attending/enjoying EDM events is an organic experience where you do what feels right to you, whether that involves "enhancers" or not. I have friends in the EDM scene who have never touched drugs and some who do it occasionally. We all get along and have a good time in our own ways.
