As an official member of the 'Go Hard or Go Home' crew, I have to agree with you.

OK then, how's 'moderation is the key for the supplements, but excess is best for the dancefloor' sound to you?

Providing you follow the first half of the rule, you'll be coherant enough not to do damage with the second half it.

My wife and I just got into this scene this year, and have been thoroughly enjoying getting to know the nooks and crannies of Toronto's club culture. I'm 29 and she's 27. I've always enjoyed electronica, but never did i think such a vast culture existed for it! The moderation point is key; if you burn it out, you can easily become disillusioned or bored with the scene... the thing we LOVE about this scene, is that most the people have a genuine love for the music...which is what brought us to the parties.

Welcome to Trance Addict, and have a blast in the scene--whether listening to sets at home, or partying it up with friends in your favourite club.

The older you get, the more tired the club scene seems. Most of the friends I got into the scene with left to pursue other ambitions in their mid 20's. I think at some point you realize the toll exerted on your body from the all night thing, or the after hours experience. After about 50-100 parties, they all begin to feel like the same, and the natural excitement that one used to get when they'd go out, drains away.

I'll still party...once or twice a year. I've left a window open to return to a scene that I loved in my youth. But like a few of the other vetern clubbers have said, it's time to probably look at other venues to spend your recreational time.

So true. I've already starting curbing my 'party' nights out. Only certain ones I will hit up now.

I'll be 31 in March and have been partying 6 years this year. My girlfriend (25) parties by my side and I really don't see our party times ending anytime soon.

We moderate a little now. keep it to once a month whenever possible. lately the vibes ahvn't been as good which has made it easier to stay away.

Can't wait for Zone day in January though.

I have primarily stopped because my favorite places have shut down like System Soundbar. All other places are too crowded or just play Gansta crap all nigth whch makes me want to assault someone. I know what I'm doing with 30 Mil if I win Friday... re-opening SystemS.

The thing is.. self-assurance comes with age and that makes everything more fun..

You can let loose in ways you could not when you were 21. You choose your friends because you like them .. not because your best friend is friends with them..

You feel more confident to go against the grain..

Life really does get better after 25.

Also partying later is more fun because you have money to do.. and do it right.

Go Big or Go Home.. :)
