You're as young as you feel. Age is just a number.

Moderation is the key. ;)

+1 on this one!!! (28 over here) Just can't do the Thursday straight thru to Monday without stopping anymore...and now I definately need a pre-nap in the afternoon if I plan on staying all night!!! But it doesn't stop me from enjoying myself...just more selective on which events I attend.

Oh yes there are...I know a couple that I met not too long ago...I won't mention any names for the sake of their privacy but these two already have kids of their own and party like there is no tomorrow.

Well, when you go out all night, often there is no real tomorrow. It just ends up being a continuation of the night before.

ha, that's like the opposite for me. as a student i had loads of disposable income and now i have no money even though i make more money than i did as a student. go figure. must be paying back those pesky student loans that does it.

anyways, i am not 27 yet, thank god. :p (LOL. don't yell at me, people!) but i will be very shortly, and skipper pretty much summed up my feelings on the subject. and to be honest, i find i'm really going back to my indie rock roots this year. i'm pretty bored with clubbing at the moment and want to do other things, and hear other genres of music that i like, not that this is really anything new. that's not to say i don't go out anymore, but there are fewer djs that i will go out of my way to see, and half the time i'd rather just go to bed. again, the old age does that!

I'm in the same boat. I'm just not feeling the club scene right now, and have been seeking out the same genre of music I did when I was in my early 20's. I have also found that with age, my tolerance of certain venues has decreased. If it's not comfortable, with space to dance, breathe etc, I'm not going to have a good time. I really enjoyed going to System b/c the temperature was always cool, it wasn't overcrowded on most nights, they had ample bathrooms and seating... but since they've closed I've only been out once in Toronto.

Does age affect your sense of humour?

I laughed out loud at this....

Remember kids, it doesn't take money, it doesn't take fame, you don't need no credit card to ride this train.

You're absolutely right... I've never had a three day binge. The most I've partied is 7 consecutive nights while on vacation, but that included a minimum 12 hour rest period in between outings.

No way could I survive otherwise. It's no wonder some people burn out so fast. The human body wasn't cut out for that without some kind of payback.

My legs are done after 6am. But a night of dancing I need as part of my healthy excercise program ;) Anyone know how many calories are burned on the dancefloor per hour?
