My only advice? Know when to go home. |
turned 28 last week, and really it all depends where you are. Like Kaskade was fun, time rolls by, before you know it, its 6am. Of course being beat doesnt stop one from takin a 30 min Frans detour for pancakes.
It's pancakes people, don't fight it. |

You should have come to mine (with the other 15 people) for coffee and croissants at 6am.
By 'knowing when to go home', I meant don't start Sat at 10pm and finish Monday at 8am :p |

Ah yes those "C'mon timmy, it's 2pm on sunday, you've still got some energy right" I think Red bull should make a specific beer helmet type device for people like that.
or start serving coffee at clubs after 4 |

Kids. You're all kids.
Partying now that I'm older means no more all-ages events. |

I'm almost in this age range...I'm 26.
Personally I find a lot of the huge parties that appealed to me a few years ago sort of boring now. It's only a couple times a year where I get really, really excited for an event and I go all out. Aside from that, I'm happy with smaller lounges or evenings in with friends (house parties, etc).
and, it is expensive partying in this city...despite having more money now than I did a few years ago, I can't justify spending it at the bar every weekend anymore. |

+1 ... but the fruit hangs a little lower on the vine. |

it's not how old you are, it's how you feel.

WOW thanks for ALL the responses! I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only partying "late-bloomer". :p
So where do the late 20's/early 30's party? I moved away for a few years but back now so clueless about the scene. A few years ago it was Guv, Docks and after parties were at Comfort Zone, Film Lounge. |

| Last time I was at any of the venues you listed, all of the young people you saw years ago appear to be still there...now they are just a little older, like yourself. ;) |
