My Headphones Finally Gave In... What Should I Buy?

Dayum! I'm Sad... My headphones finally gave in after 5 Years. They're customized Technics RP-DJ1200 Silver with Serato Logos on the sides... Ok, they're Serato Stickers, but you can't tell at night! Hehe

What do you guys recommend. Sony's are out of the question! I gotta remind you guys that I play on LOUD CLUB systems every week.

They broke while I was making a Spanish CD for my mom's Christmas Party.

Hmm HELP! What should I get?

I'm thinking Senheisser, Pioneer, or Technics. Or if I get Sony's, it would be the Sony's 7506.

I got the Techs too and they've held up for me damn well. But, seeing as how yours broke, maybe you don't wanna go that route again. ;) I'd suggest Senheiser, they sound awesome in my experience. But they seem to be more for studio use, I dunno if they make a "DJ specific" model or not, but I bet they do!

don't get the sony's, I've already blew a pair out pair of those just listening to my mp3 player, and the thin plasticky ear cup cushion material frays after a while of normal use =/

it did come with a nice leather bag though :D

Bring your 7506s out of retirement! :)

I LOVE my technics. They are a little heavy, but you get used them very quickly. Can't go wrong with them!

AWESOME HEADPHONES!!! I have a pair and I will never go back to using anything else! They are the Sennheiser HD25's btw Jesse. Another option you might like are the M-Audio IE-20 XB's. They are in-ear monitors and the sound is SUPERB, it sounds very open, almost as if you don't have anything in your ear at all. They have 26 db isolation with the double flange so you can really hear what is going on without cranking it up. They wrap around your ear and you can run the cable down your back so it looks very clean. They are a bit pricey but then again, so are the HD25's. I say buy both!!!! Thats what I did! Here is a picture of the IE-20 XB's .

Don't let anyone tell you what sounds good to you and your ears.

Or you could just trust us and buy the sennheiser. :)
