I mainly use the Sony MDR7506 Large Diaphragm Foldable Headphones and the Pioneer HDJ1000 for back-up..and I just got the Sony MDR7509HD for music production.

AWESOME HEADPHONES!!! I have a pair and I will never go back to using anything else! They are the Sennheiser HD25's btw Jesse. Another option you might like are the M-Audio IE-20 XB's. They are in-ear monitors and the sound is SUPERB, it sounds very open, almost as if you don't have anything in your ear at all. They have 26 db isolation with the double flange so you can really hear what is going on without cranking it up. They wrap around your ear and you can run the cable down your back so it looks very clean. They are a bit pricey but then again, so are the HD25's. I say buy both!!!! Thats what I did! Here is a picture of the IE-20 XB's .

I think these are what Bukem uses.

not really. the hd25's sit on top of the ear.

my hd280 pro's seal off.

my description might not have been in the best wording.

Yep, Adam Freeland too.

The most comfortable are the Sony 7506. The Technics feel like wearing a construction helmet :wtf:

Heard nothing but good about the HD25

Too true, after a few hours of wearing mine my ears hurt... And not from the volume. :(

The IE-20 XB's are actually the same technology as Ultimate Ears minus the custom made fitting. They use the same diaphrams, the same cable, the same EVERYTHING!!! Try them out, you will fall in love with them!

I ended up getting the Technics RPDH 1200. They sound good, and they were cheap! I got them for $100 out the door @ Guitar Center! Woohoo. I really wanted the Senheizers but they were special order and I need them for this weekend. Oh well. Next Time!

The Technics tell lies!!! The bass is all mushy and amplified. I understand that you had to have them this weekend though. I had to wait 8 days to get my Sennheisers. Don't pay a dime over $185.00, the MSRP is $260 or something like that. Don't let Guitar Center or Sam Ash clean you out!
