like most have said, text is just for quick , "hey, i arrived home ok" or "i'll be there in 5" type of messages.
otherwise, phone call = best.
sometimes, if i see something totally random or willarious, i'll text it...but that's few and far between. |

| I use both. Text messaging during the day because I know a lot of people who don't want to use up their minutes. Phone calls during the night because most people have free night minutes. |

| phone calls require more attention and time. texts also allow for the guy to respond whenever he feels like it |

i like texting most of the time... if i'm just texting nothing too serious. none of that predictive text either.
but the thing i notice, is that people in my generation are steering more and more away from communication. they would rather text or aim than just picking upthe phone and having a conversation. |

| Phone calls are reserved for people far away. Texting is so much easier, you get your point across and don't have to bother with the chit chat. I don't really like talking on the phone and only do if it's necessary (i.e. call my parents)...plus I can't force myself to pay attention to someone on the phone for long. |

| Text is great, you can kind of have a conversation with someone while you are in the middle of something else. And with multiple people too! If someone tells you something important you're not gonna forget cus it will be saved on your phone. But once you get out of light conversation it's appropriate to make a call, and just generally nicer. |

i just call.
text msgs are for queer ass folks with tiny fingers and a wimpy voice...and girls.
the only time i text is when i cant get them on the phone and just convey the msg thru text. |
