Im actually surprised to see so many backpacks.. cause they've been so strict with them in the past, so don't be all mad. Maybe they just got linear. |

| I loved the lasers this year. So much better than any other lasers ultra has. Also the laser bend effect was real neat. Lasers add so much more than simple lighting. When the rain was going on and all of a sudden the lasers went on, it was like a switch to forget about the rain and that some Electronic festival action was still going on!!! WIth no lasers - the festival will blow. Yea its about the music, but come on.. THE LASERS OWNED lol!!! |

It was cool for that one moment when the laswers came back on and it was raining somewhat, it added another optical lighting effect. Still, I paid so much for tickets, it better be like a pink floyd laser system, not just one cheesy laser beam. I wanna see a millon dollar laser system up there. |

| Yea i agree. I am all about the visuals. People will attack us saying go for the music - but we are. Its just that you look for the visuals in a festival. If i went just for music and no festival vibe id go to a club. Anyways, least its a step up for ultra and maybe they will add more when they move locations. |

the ufo tent a couple years back was pretty nuts. prophecy played and then spacemen came on with 3d glasses. |

Honestly?? They need to move it back to Bayfront park with the amphitheater....i dont know WHAT IN THE HELL they were thinking moving it to bicentennial park...Bayfront was soooo much better in my opinion! You guys talk about the "visuals" making a party what it is...I think location plays a HUGE part in it. Anyone else agree about moving it back to Bayfront?? The last time they had it there was in 05' What happened with that? |

It got on to full capacity.
Before Bayfront Ultra used to be held @ The Beach around 20th street or something, South Beach.
THey moved to Bayfront.. that grew, and if anyone remembers, it was PACKED the last time we went there. If we fit all the people that was at Bicenntennial, there is NO WAY they would all fit on the Ampitheater. I remember The Ampitheater been shut down at the highest point of the night because of full capacity... You guys want that?!?! A whole bunch of people paid $$$ to see a DJ that they weren't able to due to the full capacity issue. And that started happening on Ultra 5.
That's one of the reasons why they moved it to Biccentenial. THey can accomodate 15,000-20,000 more people easily.. I went to the ampitheater, and its so small compared to Biccentenial it's no joke. I agree that Bayfront brought the best experience and it was just the best place to be.
ANother reason of it not been @ bayfront was because the bayfront committee decided to not have full on festivals on it anymore.. they were going to change it to something else.
Now for the looks of it, Bicenntenial will not be an open fild like it is today. So Im thinking, will they bring to Bayfront and limit the amount of tickets sold ?!?! ( that would most likely mean higher prices and event sold out way in advance ) .. or move it to some other park in the area, which I cant come to think off. Maybe The Fair grounds, but that field SUCKS! . The best alternative would have to be bayfront, and that will be a hard hard fish to catch.
Just guys, have in mind all the things about the bayfront issue, and not just moan without knowing why it's been held at biccentenial ;) |

The amphitheatre can be defined by Oakie's set for Ultra 5. He was chugging vodka from the bottle during his set. And then they showed the WTC Towers on the screen and he just pointed to the screen as the song started to blow up. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.
They can't go back to the old park. The new place is 100x better anyways. I do wish they had more tents like they did the year before. |

actually it was when Underworld was at Ultra (04?) was the first time they closed off that area. I remember people climbing the fence for Underworld and then PVD.
I like Bicenntenial way better. |
