Infected plays same thing year after year ... they were a good act but bleh I dont know for a late show. Leave it for the big boys like Underworld or something that caliber. |

No.. brand new set is announced. They have a drummer now aswell. Since the new cd is coming out in early march, the new songs will be able to be played. Also remixes to Bust a move, Merlin, Deeply Disturbed and I wish are being played now.
I just want a psy act then if not Infected. Yahel, Astral, Skazi (not psy and not that great but fun), etc. |

So it appears the entire lineup is now up. No Infected or psy trance for me :-(
Lineup is small as hell compared to the past. Better for larger set times, but i dunno. Seems limited. Sander Van Doorn is there though - thats an up.
Wasnt there supposed to be more artists? |

I'm pretty happy with the phase 2 lineup - Hybrid, BT, Stanton Warriors, Uberzone, Sander K, SVD - good stuff.
So having never been to Ultra before I would assume (and really hope) that they do release a schedule of set times, so that we aren't all just wandering around hoping to see the DJs that we want to see? Anybody? |

there is another phase to come out. but its usually, what i like to call tier 2 dj's, and locals. you probable won't see anymore big names, tho i could be wrong. |

Dude...phase two just made it all worth the money. Even more so because sander k was added to day one....
and sander van doorn...oh...my...god. I've also heard that fatboy slims shows for the past two years have been seriously nuts. |

FBS wasn't in Miami last year for WMC and 2 years ago he had only one show at crobar. which was ok. he had a lot of technical difficulties so it kinda sucked. so where you got your info I'm not too sure. |

You can go out and read DJ Mag, Mixmag, Ministry and the likes about Fatboy Slim laying out some serious damage on whichever party he performs.. festivals and the likes in the past two years. He's appeareance at brighton I believe its the single biggest event and amount of people to go out and see one DJ play.. It was some rediculous number, something like 300 or 500,000 peeps.. it had brighton city in a standstill that day. He's planning to do something like it again.
He's also been doing secret gigs around the UK and stuff.. he's pretty much in the demand now-adays... so for Ultra to have taken that extra step on bringing him, I think its pretty smart.
And last year big headlines were announces just weeks prior Ultra.. I think it was something like a week away from Ultra or something crazy like that such as the killers. |
