I was laughing my ass off for the first like 20 minutes of my set. His spins were the best part...lmao. Thanks again for coming out!

That must have been me:D !! I just had to come out, especially since I stull haven;t gotten over the guilt of 1)having missed the Tyas Crash Mansion party:sadgreen: as well as 2)having kind-off left the scene. Like many of you have already said, you have been disapponited with the recent scene, but Friday did definately help to restore one's faith in the genre. Somebody mentioned that they went to see Tiesto instead of this? Actually, I almost did the same thing, and I wanted to see him spin too, but, I just decided to go with my instincts; ie I don't really like the bigger, "trendy", venues too much, anymore (one of the reasons I missed A&B recently).
I prefer smaller venues, even though thay may mean "smaller" parties.
Well, maybe small in terms of crowd capacity, ultimately, but not in
heart, spirit, soul, and loyalty, and fun, from both the crowd and the DJ's:eyespop:
My highlight of the night was dancing to "Everyday" and Holding On to Nothing", especially after not being able to dance to "Satell-
ite":( I had not been able to catch those tracks in a club until now.
I just had to stay to the end and make certain that I would not miss
out on any other great choons that would surely be dropped:toothless
One of the best nights in terms of choons and vibe, by far:) This was something that was sorely needed, especially after there is not much left in terms of great trance in the city. Great way to end the musical year on a high note, with the hope of greater music for this one. Maybe Sullivan Room, Element, and a couple of other places can restore some of the magic that has been lost ever since Twilo, Arc, and the regular TSFT monthlies have been lost:cool: Thanks People NYC, thanks Thomas Datt, and thanks to the Tyas':happy2: :happy2:

I loved his set, I love it more since so much what he plays has his production fingerprints. He opened w/ a Thunderstruck mix that he put together just for last night, played a few bangers and then blew right into Lift. From there on he just kept it at a peak level and it was great.

When Ryan was supposed to go on, this is during Sean's encore, he turns to me and says, "What the am supposed to play after this?" and I said, "I have no idea but good luck!" but it has to be said that Ryan's set was the set of the night. He came on after a star headliner, started from scratch with a little Cirez D and Ryan literally kept that party going strong for another hour and a half. The owner/managing partner of Sully's was arguing w/ us about closing at 5 because of the NYE weekend ahead but he turned and said, "I want to close this down, but how can I?" (as he motioned to the full room). Great stuff bro, proud to have you as part of the PEOPLE family.

Went to Tyler's place afterwards, God we need to send fruit baskets, etc. to this poor guy. What a sense of humor. He is home, on the verge of passing out when literally 40 people (mostly people he did not know) rolled up heavy to his place and just took over. They got their party on (hard) and rolled out at 10 am leaving a sea of destruction. Tyler you have have earned lifetime compage to People events.

I had the same convo with Ryan while Sean was spinning.:tongue2 ...and Ryan ripped it up! I was really impressed with boy those guys and the energy in that room was intense. I kept kidding Serge that he's a trance fan now.

You can blame me for Tyler's...it was my idea.

I finally came back from the dead today...
I knew People were going to pull it off again this month, even though Serge was not exactly excited about this party.
The place was packed since very early to the very end, and a lot danced since they arrived until they left.
Got there rather late (2 am) and proceeded straight to the back room, where I stayed most of the night and met a lot of TA's that I hadn't met before. Nice to meet you Daphna, robdawg, massivenyc and anybody I might be forgetting (that night is a blur).
TBH, haven't listened to trance in a very long time, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a great night of classics, and even though I usually don't dance @ Sully, when I heard Mindcircus playing, Melissa and I came running out to the dancefloor from the back room...
It was nice to see that a bunch of TA's finally made it out to Sully. Those who asked where I have been hiding (Jay, BiG MiKE, yankeebaby), now you know :p
Now People's next party @ Shelter will definitely be a good one!
