No offense Kel, but I grew out of the whole Crobar and Pacha thing. Paople are s, can't smoke, bouncers treat you like a criminal... etc.
I like to go where I can get away with murder, be treated like family (the bouncers from Sully are the ushers for my wedding) and where I will always get good music guaranteed. With huge dj's you never know; they might be having those days when their vagina hurts and play nonsense while people still worship them. I just want to hear more solid acts that have been shaping the scene, not selling out. Yeah, Pacha books Jeff Mills every once in a while, but would they book Derrick May, Juan Atkins or Kevin Saunderson, or some big German names like now Robots are doing? I'm sure they don't even know who they are.
I'm sure I won't be seeing any name like that on a pacha or crobar flyer anytime soon. I'd rather go to a little venue to hear better talent, but that's my point of view.
PS Sorry if I seem like I'm having a bitch fit. I'm morphing into Bridezilla anytime this month. |

i'd go with you - or at least you know i'll probably be there ;)
mills was ok - he had some technical problems in the beginning - only two cdj's and 1 turntable were working, but i think they got it fixed. he spun his normal detroit techno - banging, housey, twisted - good times |
