Not really on here much as I live in Vegas and usually don't need much of a heads up on what's going on, but I'm in NYC for the next three weeks or so and I thought I might get some advice. Just a couple simple questions:
1) Was thinking about checking out Morillo at Pacha on the 6th... do I need to call in favors to get in this place? And what time would a DJ like him go on? In Vegas he'd probably go on about 1 or 2, but that's because the regular joints close around 4 or 5, and then the after hour places open. If he was playing an after hours spot then he might go on anywhere between 3 and 6.
2) I've got a ton of friends who hang out in the meatpacking district, and that's all well and good but I can only take so much of it... anyone have any places they can recommend with a bit more "house-y" vibe?
Any help is much appreciated.
