quitting smoking

well, im two weeks into it, seems like the cravings get weaker and weaker after just a few days, but i still get them!
wtf do you do when you get a craving? ive been going through 2 packs of gum a day, and walking is good too.
anybody have some advice? |

Do pushups....
First two weeks are the harder part. Stay busy. Replacing smoking with an activity its the best way. So once your metabolism starts to sag from the lack of smoking, you will at least be active and fighting the weight gain. |

-I've heard of people "pretending to smoke". Not lighting the cigarette but holding it and/or putting it to your mouth as if you were going to smoke it.
-Gum
-Drink a glass of iced water and eat the ice cubs afterwards. Eating ice cubs cuts cravings for anything. |

| Quitting smoking sucks - I have done it 3 time this year - all i can say is nicoderm does wonders and so does this inhale device by nicoderm! good luck kiddo! |

en rights it sucks
ive done it cold turkey, just chewing normal gum, im not going to spend 20 or 30 bucks on nicorette... ive been keeping track of the money ive been saving over the two weeks aswell, about $100 |
