| I don’t really view that way of thinking as negative or anything. I’m just being real. I know how people are and I’m very in tune with society and how people work…that’s all I meant. One of my friends is like the queen of making plans with 20 people and then going with the best one at the last minute. I’ve realized this and I’m totally OK with it. lol whenever she calls me and asks what I’m doing, I tell her, and then I’m like, “Yea so call me around 10 p.m. and let me know if I win” and she laughs. She knows I got her number. But I don’t care because I’ve done that before too. We all have. |

You must know some ty people then. Yeah there's a lot of bull and deceit in the world, but me if those are the people I hang out with. I've got it good I guess. Must be 'cause I'm a small town girl, and around here people still have simple values like consideration for others.
I dunno, I wouldn't be able to put up with that and I suppose I never have. I'm lucky to have a lot of genuinely good, honest people in my life.
I can't ing stand opportunists and users....or people who make decisions based on how convenient it is for them. And there's SO ing many people like that out there, ugh. |

hehe yes i'm starting to think a rebound may be the way to go. who knows though, all i really need is my friends by me now, and meeting a few other hot male friends with good personalities wouldn't hurt either. it's hard to be in love/be loved for so long and then POOF! it's gone. it's kinda weird, i feel like hopping back into a relationship because that's what my instinct says, but i know that's a bad move.
2nd semester starts in 10 days and i am OFFICALLY single. :) |

Yup, you're definitely right, and I AM talking about people who make a conscious decision to do so. Seeing how many people really are like this, makes it hard for me to continue believing in the greater good.
On the other hand though, I think that people who do stuff like that truly don't think about it. I dunno, I'm a very introspective person...I'm very aware of my actions and how they affect others, etc. (I always feel a lot of guilt and/or remorse after my wrong-doings). I always assumed everyone was like this, but I'm starting to realize that they aren't. |
