Nobody really knows.

You may be thinking of Geert Huinink, who has helped Tiesto with many of his productions.

The music of the Tiesto In Concert DVD dj-set was studio-mixed afterwards, which is why the live acts look a bit silly. I'm pretty sure they sang live at the event though.

No, it really was that bad in the flesh too. Andain singer was too ed to even stay still and sing properly over her backing track. Lip-synching at its worse.

Meanwhile Jan Johnston was so gone, she was running around bare foot on the stage during her two show stoppers later in the set. Yelling "thank you Amsterdam" when performing in Arnhem. Oh hell, they should've just turned their mic's off completely.

Wow. You were there for this?

This is what happens when DJs become rock stars. :o

i'm sorry.. I only got to page 5.. but i just wanted to comment on that dj mystik track.

he jacked the melody from Andrea Bocelli.

The original track is an Opera song sung in Italian called Con De Partio (i will go with you) it's on his "Romanza" CD.

so, you see how dj vs. musician.. sure people can raise the tempo of a song and put a 4/4 behind it, pitchshift the vocals and call it their track.

also.. you are thinking in terms of TRADITIONAL MUSIC vs. composed music.. put together on a digital audio workstation.

electronic music generally cannot be played as you hear it from start to finish, but is a collection of loops and effects with a backing dance beat...

hey thanks so much for that info on dj mystik. So were those piano sounding parts still done on a synth, or what?
frankgrimes87
but if u wanted to, could u play that whole thing out on a synth, i mean the piano sounding parts?
MrJiveBoJingles
How many times are you going to ask that same question?

The answer is: Yes, probably anybody with basic piano training could play that easily, and even people without any piano training could probably pick it up with a little practice.
frankgrimes87
ok, so i guess mystik took the song, and just sped it up a load and added effects to it? thats what im guessing he did

That tune was not even made by DJ Mystik. It's by DJ Visage ("The Return (Time To Say Goodbye)")
