More likely his wife. His career is nearly done and I'm sure she probably wants to reserect hers... LA is a better place for that then Barcelona. Either that or his colone sales are flagging in the US so he needs to raise his profile there. |

There was a study done a while ago that was saying how the wifes have a larger influence on athletes and where they play. Especially in the NHL right now with the salary cap. Isn't there like an organization in the NHL something like "the wifes of NHL players" or something like that. Significant others play larger roles these days, especially considering that they are going to be spending a lot of time alone.
I'm sure Victoria prefers to LA or Barcelona...thats just my opinion.
It isn't just about money, its about how whipped they are :P |

I don't blame some hockey players wives if they don't want to play in Canadian cities, as the players in Canada get the star treatment and attention from chicks here, even when they were juniors playing in small towns. |
