| im glad hes gone hes a twat he will fit in well with the americans hes always been over rated ive never thought hes was that amazing a footballer anyway. I get the feeling that his wife had alot to do with this move beckham is a muppet and his wife is no better. |

Instant tabloid material moving to LA(I know they're international Celebs, but they'll be more adopted by us now)... now we can look forward to the battlbe between Nicole Richie and Victoria for who is more anorexic... YAY... no not really...
I love the move, sucks that the Revolution will probably only play the Galaxy once, or twice in Foxboro, so I'll only get two Becks' games AT MOST...lol... but I'll take what I can get!
Alexi Lalas has been working on this move for a while... and while I don't think it will kickstart MLS, I think it will rather kill it, I HOPE it does kickstart it, but I don't think it will... I'm cynical! |

Somehow I don't really think he cares so much about where he's playing as long as he's got that 250 million dollar contract.

Like I said, it's a great deal for him. No way would he be able to get that much money from anyone else. Can you blame him? You and I would take the money too! |

more like 50,000 pounds a week. Its a 5 year deal for $125 million. The MLS has a salary cap not allowing clubs to pay over $1.3 million a week in total wages so thats a crap load of money by MLS standards. |

| Well he is more of a marketing tool to MLS. I doubt it will improve it. But whatever, who gives a . Now all we will see is hollywood channels make him get into the pop culture even more. |

I beg to differ, as much as i find him a complete puto, you cant deny his skills. For the last couple of years he's been detoriorating, thats a fact but during his manchester period he was one of the best atm. Talented, Internationally, that being said the dude's clearly just in it for the money, first the ing gay galacticos and now galaxy, whats next, a trip to the moon ? |
