I'm sick of hearing people bagging out Mark James.
Mark is one of Australia's best DJs, a lot of Melburnians just wouldn't know it because they've only ever seen him play one of his "crowd pleaser" sets at Famous.
I saw him support James Zabiela at Room a couple of years ago, to this day it's one of the best sets I've ever heard.
There are better people who could support Armin, but Mark James is definitely no shabby choice. |

I dont think people are bagging out Mark James. You are right though Mark is an awesome DJ depending on what he plays. I have heard some garbage played at Famous (to be expected).
I can understand that when a massive trance name comes to Melbourne the people want to see "trance" DJs. |

Not really much point getting into this but i'll have my 2 cents anyway...
Mark imo has always promoted himself as a Dj first and foremost. The early mansion days and then the republic days were some of the finest progressive/trance sets i have heard from anyone in this country.
He has the cash and infastructure to make these events happen so he can do whatever he wants imo as long as he plays appropriately.
If Future wasn't around who else would bring out these Artists with equal or better production that goes into them?
I nominate Steve May to get a n chance, the boy has put out more associated with Armin than anyone in Australia and would play a lovely warmup set. (fix me up later buddy :toothless ) |

alas we used to get crushed by the grammarians at footy.. :( but drewby was nowhere to be seen on those saturday morning games.. must've been recovering after big nite beforehand at the aforementioned mansion :) |
