i'm gonna turn back the clock a few years, and hit front and centre like old times. i expect to see lots of TA old-skoolers there.

well i have a better idea. how about you and everyone else give me $90 each, ill go and buy the back catalogue of ASOT and anjunabeats and ill dj for you for 6 hours. i'll even colour my hair blonde, i might even cry during a track. you won't know the difference. |

well i dunno
i mean if it's just him dj'ing, there is no show or anything like live singers or his brother playing guitar then i don't think it's really worth it. with the rise of digital labels and production, everyone having myspace pages, any exclusive tunes he has aren't really going to be that exclusive to him, it's a 6 hour set so there would be at least an hour or so's worth of classic old tunes that everyone loves but has heard before, the rest is going to be the all the armada, ASOT and anjunabeats stuff that everyone else can get and has heard on his mix cds and radio show plus the obligatory electro or prog or whatever current fad is at the start to get warmed up. i sure there would be quite a few tunes i like in those 6 hours but i just don't think it's really worth it. now if he had a bunch of studio equipment on stage and played his tunes live with instruments and other performers then that might be different. but at the end of the day it's just a long dj set. why don't we have a steve only 6 hour set? |
