how would you know if they use (or will in the future be using) s/pdif or not? i agree that it's kinda pointless complaining about something that you don't use of never will use. but the people complaining could very well all be using s/pdif right now or planning to start using it soon.

let me ask you this:
how does this drm bull make our life better? the consumers who pay for the ing product. how does it help us? does it do something for our good? i don't think it does. all it does is add hassle and bull that people who don't understand the pros of free standards will happily accept because they don't know any better. i haven't seen a single reasonable argument for this bull. i don't see how it really benefits anyone. but it does add confusion and frustration so i think it's bull. but apparently you think otherwise and i'd like to know why. |

well you had a problem with people having a problem with drm. that leads me to the conclusion that you don't have a problem with drm, but on the contrary think it's a good thing. apparently i was wrong. i just don't see your logic at all. :conf: |

What I meant was the idiotic part being the fact that the person who receives the song, Can only hear it 3 times in only a 3 day period. In other words you have 3 chances to listen to the song and you only have 3 days to do it. After that, It won't play any more. |

| In the long run, This is going to affect a lot of consumers who own older monitors and graphics card that don't have the HDCP specs. They won't be able to watch the protected HD content on there system until they purchase a graphics card and monitor with the HDCP support built in. |
