Seriously?
You 'spice' up your factual, argument context and content with 'little' extras that may not necessarily be true or aim to inflame people's opinions in your arguments.
Well... wow

Don't quote Wikipedia, anyone can edit it.
Compile youre factual data out of government and private weather monitoring groups. Speaking of time I have to get out of here for a few hours so that'll give you some time to put together your environmental cataclysm argument with something which has an actual basis.

Haha, no are are being serious? Are you for real? You think "Areas of California that have never in recorded history experienced snow now received some for the first time." is a lie? Man, I saw it on TV! Frozen orange trees! Locals telling they see snow for the first time, South California! Open your eyes up, man!!

United Nations report says that EVERY single lifesystem on the planet is in decline. You doon'tt believe it, oh well. Even if I had the paper on me, you won't believe it. I know your kind.

Here's some schooling for you, read a report called Pilot Analysis Of Global Ecosystems, a publication written by a very respected World Resources Institute; International Food Policy Research Institute - project initiated by United Nations:

http://www.ifpri.org/pubs/books/page/agroeco.pdf

108 pages. Have fun. Alll backed information.

How do you know this isn't a normal cycle that happens every couple hundred years?
We haven't been recording the weather very long to make any legitimate, concrete conclusions on anything lest of all, the end of the world...

Lies, there's been studies that demonstrate that even though there is a cycle present the levels present at the moment are way higher than anything in the previous 600,000 years. I don't think and don't understand how people are still debating whether global warming is real or not, the debate is a matter of speed of development of the effects, ALL scientists agree that global warming IS present. The extra cold is cyclical and if you want a overview of how it works Al Gore's movie does a really good job at resuming it in layman's terms.

The debate isn't about whether or not the Earth is warming up; that's pretty much established.
What IS debatable is WHAT is causing it...

Even though you could argue that because the data is correlational, there is very strong evidence that it is because of the increase in CO2 emissions. I doubt you can really make an experiment where you create a faux biosphere and increase CO2 emissions. The correlational data indicates that levels achieved of CO2 emissions are way past normal levels, same with temperatures, and i don't have the numbers but im pretty sure the correlational index should be around .8 or .7 which by all accounts is very strong.

Thanks for the laugh. You global warming kooks really crack me up - I think some of you have spent a little too much time watching The Day After Tomorrow. :stongue:

Yeah, the planet is getting warmer. No, the sky is not falling, the planet isn't going to be ravaged with continuous and devastating storms, biodiversity is not going to be crippled by CO2 levels much lower than life has already thrived under, and, no, we're not going to be wiped out by a planet trying to defend itself against us (as if the planet itself is somehow better off with that carbon in the ground than in the air  ).

1. immune systems do not actually exist

2. however, i understand your analogy, and agree in certain context

equilibrium, especially among gaseous chemical bodies, is a very tricky matter to be messed with

perhaps if we had done it slower, rather than in a 300 year period (industrial revolution, combustion, hydrocarbon emission), it would have adapted better... but as it goes, few established closed enthalpic systems acclimate well to sudden shifts.

Right...

The planet doesn't care whether the carbon is in the ground, in the air, or walking as a biped on the fringe...
