These days, many of the songs have a HIGH QUALITY song production but the MELODY ARE NONSENSE! It’s like cheap melody. It sucks!

Well of course you'd say that, Mr. Beethoven.

I think both are fundamental, but a good melody is reeeeeally important, since it's the "soul" of the music, imo.

u mean u prefer in 60% melody while 40% in quality production?

Production can't replace inspiration.

I really don't think that Melody and Quality are mutually exclusive. it, I want both, and I don't think that's too much to ask.

Both, I love a good melody, but nothing ruins it for me more than shoddy production really.

I never used to notice years ago, prolly cause it was all of the same standard and also because I wasnt aware of DJing and Production values, now I am if a song is lacking in either it will pretty much ruin the tune for me.

Examples:

An awesome tune, but production lets it down for me, just everything is drowned in delay and reverb.

It's has a gorgeous breakdown though.

Trouble is, a lot of dance records emerge from production experiments. The two aren't seperated in dance music like they are in other genres, and so they cross over into each other.
