I was about to say something along these lines....
Yes what happened to the puppy as bad, HOWEVER...
I notice some people feel much more offended and have alot more to say about how evil it is, than they do about stuff that happens to people. Kind of makes me sick.
Example: compare comments in this thread to the comments about the guy killed in acupulco. |

Could you please specify what comments you're talking about?
By the time I saw that thread it was already 4 or 5 pages long...and I didn't have time to read through everything. I read the article, and some of the longer posts...but from what I got people were still pretty disgusted with what happened. Many people, including myself, were saying how they wouldn't want to visit Mexico considering how dangerous and corrupt it is. Was there something in that thread that I perhaps have missed? |

Yes people were pretty disgusted with what happened in mexico, however to me it did not seem that anyone expressed as much emotion as they did in this thread.
This thread also just set me off. I see frequently on the news, people being glorified because they saved an animal from drowning or whatnot and they are talked about as if they saved a human. Don;t get me wrong I love animals but it just seems that sometimes there is no separation made.
I remember when they did a story on this guy that went to New Orleans to save animals and he spent so much money or whatever. Seriously who gives a about a cat when many HUMANS needed saving. I thought that was wasted effort.
So I guess what I am trying to say is that, I am just touchy when it gets to this subject.
So to answer your question finally Lisa, I didn't see anyone saying they wanted to kill or cut up any of the pepole that killed the guy in mexico. Not that they should, but thats what I mean about not showing as much emotion.
Did I make any sense? I hope so:D |
